hi all! Im new on this forum, I try to make some automated things in my home, gonna use linear motion systems, actuators, table lifts. The main question is: can someone suggest a good company provides mobile applications for products?
Thank you

Hi samdenson, welcome to ETO!

If you're interested in learning some programming, you could always create your own! I have an article here to help you write a very simple "Hello World!" Android app: https://www.electro-tech-online.com...roid-programming-creating-your-first-app.705/

In order to interface it with the real-world, I would recommend the IOIO OTG: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/11343
It connects to your mobile device via bluetooth and you can control its outputs with it.

Other than that, I don't think any companies really focus on creating mobile applications for home automation, though I may be wrong. Usually those are third-party hobbyist projects.

Regards,
Matt

If you want to use the IOIO to control motors, actuators, solenoids, etc you will need an external power supply and a transistor or relay. The IOIO itself cannot source enough current to control such devices.

But in order to use the IOIO you have to write your own app.
