The mythbusters demonstrate massively parallel processing. **broken link removed**.

Absolutely amazing.

Reminds of that electronic gun [ the barrels arranged in a square array, with the bullets one behind the other in the barrels].

IIRC about 1 million rounds a minute, each bullet fired electronically.
 
How cool is that! Wow. Those guys have the coolest job.
