making frequency comparator with counter

hi, ı have a problem ın my circuit ı want to show frequency changing but firstly ı want to make a frequency comparator by using counter. However, ı do not know how can ı build this part of circuit...

You talked about frequency changing and about a frequency comparator but you forgot to tell us the frequency range required.
1Hz to 1kHz?
1kHz to 1MHz?
1MHz to 1GHz?
1Hz to 1GHz?

ı work with 200 Khz. ı use this part at metal detector
