LT3791-1 current regulator feedback connection?

Flyback

Well-Known Member
Hello,
The following is a variable output current regulator, for max 20Amps.
We feed the feedback signal back into the Vc pin of the LTC3791-1 PWM controller, as in the following schematic (LTspice simulaton also provided)
Is this OK?, or should we use the FB pin for the feedback?

My simulation of the circuit shows it working but with significant overshoot and ringing on the output. If you increase C11 to 100nF (not necessarily the optimum value) it eliminates that. Don't see any reason to use the FB pin if it's working as you want otherwise.
