Any suggestions for an inexpensive and easy to use clock chip that uses SPI or I2C. Needs to have Battery backup with date. Which interface is best to use? Thanks...
DS1307 is the most popular and best RTC used now a days. It has I2C interface, separate pin for 3V battery backup, consumes very low power (500nA), also has date registers.
