I am trying to find out exactly how many LED down lights I can run from the driver. The Specifications of the older drivers which failed are for a 9Watt LED down light
Secondary details of the old driver DC13 - 36 Volts 320mA from the LDD-300H I am trying to find out exactly how many of these LED down lights it will drive.
Many thanks
Rodney

What is the voltage rating of the LED light?
There are six models of driver in the datasheet. Which one do you have?

A 9W light at 24V draws 375mA. The 300H driver is rated at only 300mA so won't be able to drive any of those lights at full rated power, but should drive two such lights, connected in series, at 300mA.

Yes, you told us that in post #3 :). Did you read post #4?

Good. Have you tried two in series?

The driver is a step down constant current converter.
Two 24V leds in series needs about 50V input voltage for the driver.

Two 24V leds in series needs about 50V
The driver output is rated 52V, so should cope.
