Hi All...

just a little explaination about this thread. I'm testing newest version of Latex plugin for the forms. You should see f(x) Math under the ... button. Here's where you can put in Latex.

Handy, but it would still be a lot easier for members if Greek letters and math symbols commonly used in electronics, e.g. pi, theta, degree, +/-, omega, were available directly as simple symbols from the toolbar rather like the smilies. I'd personally prefer that feature rather than all those fancy fonts.
I suspect most posters here aren't familiar with Latex.

Block
\[ RMSE = \sqrt{\frac{1}{n}\Sigma_{i=1}^{n}{\Big(\frac{d_i -f_i}{\sigma_i}\Big)^2}} \]

Inline
\( RMSE = \sqrt{\frac{1}{n}\Sigma_{i=1}^{n}{\Big(\frac{d_i -f_i}{\sigma_i}\Big)^2}} \)

Just testing....

From the menu text: Block math is bigger and should be used for big equations and formulas. It also creates line breaks before and after. Inline math is smaller and should be used inside the text. It is a tiny bit larger

\( S (\omega)=\frac{\alpha g^2}{\omega^5} \, e ^{[-0.74\bigl\{\frac{\omega U_\omega 19.5}{g}\bigr\}^{-4}]} \)

nice.
