irf 540 in h bridge inverter

i am using hip4082 h bridge driver and irf540 for mosfet. before connectting the mosfet i am able to get driving pulses but after connecting mosfet one side drain is going to vs and other side drain to zero and in between i am spikes also and gate signal also corrupted with spikes what could be the reason . i am using rg=10 ohm.

The datasheet shows how to connect the Mosfets. You don't connect one side drain to zero volts.
