how to recover a AC signal from DC Signal

HI

I want to know how can we recover a AC Signal which is riding on a DC Signal and eliminate the DC Signal. Example A DC Signal of 60v on which,a AC Signal of 20vpp is riding , now i want to remove the DC signal and capture the AC signal, , please provide me any information on this.

Sometimes a simple series capacitor of the right value will do that for you. There is an initial turn on surge that has to be clamped too though.
The capacitor passes the AC and blocks the DC.

What is the load impedance that the AC signal will ultimately be delivered to?

What is the source impedance from which the DC/AC signal originates?

What is the frequency of the AC signal?
