How to interface LDR & 7 segment display

Now I'm working my mini project. one thing I would like to know is that how to interface LDR & 7 segment display. If somebody know, pls help me together with circuit diagram.

eg: What will the 7seg LED's display, how many LED's.?

What light source is driving the LDR.?
