Hi
I want to replace the three transistors on a CDI unit for a VFR 400 NC30 motor bike.
The two coil driver transistors are 2SD1071s. There is a green flat transistor
next to them, which I suppose drives the two 2SD1071s
There is no number on the green transistor. It is flat, slightly smaller than the
2SD1071, and it shares the common heat sink.
Has anybody any idea what this green transistor could be.
There is an ignition circuit on the forum using a transistor similar to the 2SD1071
and showing a driver transistor as a 2SC1959Y. This transistor is not a flat package
device and I think it is a PNP, whereas the circuit shows a NPN device.
Hope somebody can help
Regards
Harry.

what modelo is? 2sd1071 darlington npn with diode, 2sb834 pnp for 5v power supply, 2sa1020 pnp for pullup resistors 330ohm , drivers for 2sd1071:smd npn digital with builin resistors marking L37.
