Homework that i need help

hello people! i need to make 2 circuits...
one that atc like a electric teaser
and another that works like a street signal...
i mean when you push a button a red led turn on and stay on for a time.... after ths a green led turn on and the red turn of... =]

No one here is going to (or should) provide you with the circuits.

Figure out how you want to do it. Draw up a schematic and ask questions about the bits you have a problem with.
