help making lcd or led circut.

Hi im 14 years old and no electonic whiz. but I wasnt to make either an lcd or led circut for my science prodject. but I have no clue how to make one or what i need for one. please help me!

If you fancy using PIC's to do it, have a look at my tutorials, I show how to drive LED's and LCD text modules.
