HELP lol

my gf plugged my wireless network adapter in wrong way the computer shut down wont star again do anyone know what blew.

Could be almost anything from a simple fuse, a trace to an IC. Pretty hard to plug a PCI card in backwards.

I am guessing it was a USB one. try taking out the BIOs battery. i had that happen to my laptop when i was powering my breadboard and there was a short and the hole thing shut down. if it is a laptop just take out the battery and the power cord. wait a few minuets and then plug everything back in and you should be good to go. for a desktop try the BIOs batter it is a small 3v coin battery.
