Help Identifying component

Im wondering if anyone csan helpl me identify this component, it is from a SMPS in a monitor the ive searched for VBT 41 30r but come up with nothing

Unfortunately numbers on SM parts are often completely meaningless, so you need to refer to the service manual to find out what it is.

Looks like the part code is 'VBt', but that doesn't match up with anything in the lists in a SOT23-6 package (neither does 'VB').

As Nigel says, a service manual is going to be the only way to find out.

If you find the datasheet, the marking can help confirm that you've found the right part, but there's really no method for going in the other direction. The size and position of the text can be quite distinctive.

The markings often show batch number, date, variant or something like that, but rarely the actual part number, so there can be many variations, and there will usually be no web pages with that particular combination of characters which is why text search doesn't work. Image search is equally useless, with few high-quality images posted on the web of any particular IC.
