What hardware? mica isolators are definitely available, and you don´t need the nylon isolating washer for the screw since the hole in the package is isolated.

Not necessarily, there is the standard TO-247 and then there is the advanced TO-247. This PDF explains more - https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infin...N.pdf?fileId=5546d4625fe367840160021aeb971416

The nice thing about the TO-247 advance besides not needing the washer, is no mica pad is needed and it has a small recess on the back to put heat sink grease in, in just the right amount.

Why would you, even as you claim to be a hobbyist, look at a photo and not the drawing (page 5) that gives the actual dimensions? The hole in the tab, if you take out the plastic will be the same diameter as one of the non-advanced packages. They made this advanced package just for people like you, people that don't know to insulate a component when using a heat sink.

No insult meant (well maybe a small insult meant), did you get to the point in your "career" that you can't spend the time to look at Google to find your answers? Instead of making yourself look dumb, or out of your league?

Maybe the mods should compare your internet address with the known ones of a banned member, "billymayo"?
