Gps to pc connection

Hi all, I'm looking to make a device/circuit to allow a rockwell jupiter gps board to connect to my laptop, I came across this site **broken link removed** which looks like what I want to make. Has anyone built one of these or got any pointers hopefully a diagram

I have the data sheet for my gps board and the max 710 and 221 components.

I have made a Tracking System which has a GPS interfaced with PC through a microcontroller Atmel 2313.
