GCE A2 Systems And Control Project

Ok here is the problem. Iam doing my second year in A level systems and control the electronics part of it but there is one problem I cannot think of what to make it can be anything but prefably something not available widly in shops. Has anyone got any ideas, it does not have to be complicated. I just want an idea and a circuit. :lol:

Fair enough asking for an idea but asking for a circuit, ain't that what the project is? Designing and making the circuit? :lol:
