Garage door motor wiring question...

I ended up solving this mechanically (found a speed reducer on ebay that normally goes for $600 new going used for $60). That solved the whole thing in basically one step. Just needs about 15$ more worth of a v notch pulley and a belt.

Thanks for all the help, however!
