frequency deviation and ppm

hi ppl,

I got a quick question. If a processor has an internal clock with 4% accuracy, does it mean it can generate an error of 2.4s in an hour? also can some one direct me to %accuracy to ppm conversion math for crystal oscillator?

Just remember percent is part per hundred. So, PPH X10E4 is PPM. John

4% is .04 so PPM should be 400
