you are completely mis-informed about why people who buy a $80k-$120k vehicle with a Diesel engine option would buy a diesel. Do you really think they are worried about a few cents worth of fuel?

Luxury diesel SUVs are generally targeted at people pulling Boats or Airstream-like travel trailers - especially in hills. Low-RPM torque of diesels is amazing.
