Could someone point me in the right direction to find a asm,hex, or just some help, on coding a pic to turn a light on at dark, and off with the sunrise.Would like to have it on a 6 or 12 volt system with a solar panel rechager.i would be useing the pic12c805a or the 16f84a.

I don't think that a PIC is required for this job. You can even do it with a single op-amp wired as comparator and a few other components including either photo-diode or LDR.
