Driving Patterns?

Hi Folks,

I've built a circuit with a stepper motor and I thought it would be a good idea to show the low-torque and high-torque driving patterns. Trouble is, I don't know what these are and have no idea where to start.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you don't know what they are, then why do you want to show them? Homework?
