Hi

I think I was cutting something steel when I was forcing it to cut then the thing just cut out. What can I say I don't accept no for an answer.
Have I burnt out the motor? What actually happenswhen it gets burnt out because I don't see any damage to the motor

Is there continuity through the motor?
It is a universal type motor, so the armature and fields are in series.
If there is, it could be in the speed control devices.

sorry am unfamiliar with the different motor types. Is this a universal motor
