Hi,

I'm watching these MIT videos and at one point the image is too fuzzy to read so i couldnt see an answer they got.

Please could you find the solution for me. I need to differentiate V and multiply by C:

V(t) = V1 + K1e-αtcosωt + K2e-αtsinωt

I(t) = C dv/dt

I(t) = ....

[the -αt, is e to the power of -αt im not sure how you make it subscript]

Hi,

Try this:

dv/dt=e^(-a*t)*(K2*w*cos(w*t)-K2*a*sin(w*t)-K1*w*sin(w*t)-K1*a*cos(w*t))

There 'may' be a simplification in there if you feel like looking for it.
