The max. speed the pic can handle is printed on top, like 3dluvr said. But keep in mind that the pic will use more power if it runs faster. So for battery powered devices you shouldn't run the pic faster then the application requires.

Then buy a 4Mhz crystal, handy for timed programming as at 4Mhz 1 instruction will take exactly 1µs.
