Hello everyone!

I would need some help in order to write a program in assembler language in order to connect a LCD display to the parallel port of PC in order to display the value of 1 digit (0...9)

I know that maybe for some of people around this site, it way sound as a silly question, but I'm new on this domain, I willing to learn, and also to understand this project, but for the moment I don't know so many things about how an LCD receives data, and works. I've been searching a little bit around, but I'm confused so any tip or information will be very useful.

Thanks a lot! :)
