bus fuse?

if any one could explain what a bus fuse is and what it is used in i would greatly apreciate it.

Without having seen the fuse in question, I guess it is a fuse made by a company called "Bussman".
They specialise in fuses and fuse holders.

thanks that is what i have found out but i was not sure if it was a special type or not.
