Your arithmatic is WRONG. (6V - 3.5V)/20mA= 125 ohms, not 80 ohms.
Nobody makes an 80 ohm nor a 125 ohm resistor.
Yes, darn it. You're correct. I was playing with calculations between 30mA and 20mA, and must have confused myself.
I was using 100ohm resistors for my 80ohm calculation, and two 100ohm resistors for my 200ohm calculation. I see it would be better to add two 10ohm resistors to each of the green/blue.
 
200 ohms is a standard common 5% value. 220 ohms is (was) even more common.
Nobody uses resistors in series today.
