 Let say if a AA battery with capacities of 2000mA.h , 1.5Volt
output current = 2000mA.h/20hour = 100mA
if 4 same AA battery are connected in series, the voltage will raise to 6V
how about the capacities and output current of the 4 combined series battery?

In series it will equal to one cell capacity. But the voltage will be sum of the total cell voltage.

In parallel it will give you the same voltage as a single cell. But the capacity equal to the sum of the capacities.
