Atmel ICD schematic?

What would be the similar device from Atmel to a Microchip ICD2?

Hopefully a clone that works with their Studio software.

Not an Atmel person myself, so this may appear a dumb question.

Hey Will, dont know to much about AVR's, but I think there is lot more way to do debuging on AVR then on PIC's.

Anyway google has lot of info on this.

Do you need both halves? Is one side a programmer the other a debugger?

I would use the AVRISP MKII. It's a usb programer and it works with avr studio and codevison C compiler It runs about $35. www.allamerican.com has it.

it wasn't clear from the evertool docs if it supports debugWire - this is important for the newer tinys. the dragon does.
