Average value of transistors in radio receiver

About two bucks.

The FM scanning "radio" at the Dollar Store has an IC for the RF and only one transistor as its amplifier.
Since the entire radio costs only $1.00 and comes with batteries, earphones and a light then the transistor in it costed the manufacturer almost nothing.
I don't know what is "Abdul-currency".
