8 bits binary number to 3 digit display

I did not investigate this but might be possible to store the table in FLASH (ROM), use DMA to
auto access table for BCD to 7 seg, and regain most of the other chip functions, like -

Again single chip and I think codeless using the DMA......

These days, a PIC would be smaller and cheaper (and available), but still the look-up table approach would be the a whole lot easier than writing and debugging the seven Boolean equations for a calculated solution
