Hello ,

I am making a power supply where I wish to use a 7106 based DPM to display the voltage. Its a battery power supply hence the ground of the 7106 would be the same as the ground of the circuit. The usual DPMs will not work if the grounds are kept common.

Is there any way to isolate the two grounds even though I have a single supply ground ?

The easy way is to use a seperate supply. A wallwart or DC->DC converter(V-Infinity series VFSD1 are only $7). E
