I am making a 6 gear position indicator for my motorcycle using LED lights. The lights I am using are Radio Shack P/N 276-272.These units have resistors already inside them.Do I need to add another one?All of them will be power by one positive wire. The grounds are used to trigger each LED.If I need a resistor, would Radio Shack P/N 271-009(1/8th watt and 470-0hm) work, and does it need to be on the positive or ground side? Thanks in advance.
