The Problem: Having arrived rather late into the world of Beam Bots I find it almost impossible to locate and obtain 1381J Voltage Detectors as they are no longer made. There are suppliers but they do not supply to Joe Public or you have to order £250 worth of components from them.
Is there an equivalent component or a very simple circuit that would replicate the 1381?
