Hi I just found this site, and I am new to electronics, on a scale of 1 to 10 a low 1
Any way what I am trying to find out is their a way to wire a 12v DC fan to 120v ac without buying a Radio Shack Type unervesral type controller?
I would be thankful for any help, Pat
Basically you need a 12VDC power supply. Though you may not want to do this, the best bet is to purchase a 12V wall wart (of appropriate current requirements) to run your fan.
