We have 13 cheap individual Solar Powered Outdoor LED Pathway lights for our front walkway. Our problem is we (well mainly the "Wife") likes the style and color of the lights but due to some shading they charge at different rates. Some last all night some only last an hour. Each Solar Light has a single LED with a AAA battery.

Here is our question...We have a small portable camping 10Watt 12Volt Solar Panel with a 12Volt 10Ah rechargeable Battery laying around not being used and would like to try and hard wire all the Solar Lights together to run off of it by placing this Panel in a more direct sun light location. Is there is a simple way to modify the guts of these Lights to work with our camping Solar Panel and Battery?

Any feed back on the possiblities of this little project and how to go about doing so would be greatly appreciated.

With 13 x 1.5V you'd need 19.5V to power them all in series and that's presuming they'd share the load evenly?
