Hi all:
Just had the programmer crap out.... 5 Vcc vanished off the ZIF and the green LED indicator.
Caused a 'hardware or connector error' in software.
Traced it down to a cold solder joint on R20. This is located at the corner of the PCB near the Centronics connector.
It drove the enabling PNP switch (BC327 near J7 on my board) for the Vcc.
I attach a clone schematic and the driver s'ware which seems to be hard to find.

Note they have the Vcc/Vpp labels swapped.
The BC327 PNP is the To92 at the top right and the resistor with the cold joint is the one just to the right of the top left screw, it brought in the init signal from the Centronics interface.
