Is PS2 controller protocol standard for all the manufacturers? I have interfaced SONY PS2 with ATmel controller, now want to use Logitech PS2.
I have referred following tutorial for SONY PS2 controller and it works...

Will the same protocol applie to any other PS2 controller?

does the Logitech work on the playstation?

i think when Logitech says ps2 they may be talking about the keyboard/mouse plug on the back of a PC which is way different: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS/2_connector

ultimately im pretty sure if a controller has the funny playstation plug on it, it will follow playstation protocol...
