Hi Guys......Sub is switching itself off during quite passages of music or movies. Also makes a large thump when switching on or off !!...... Can anyone shed some light on what the cause maybe ?......Cheers RaimonAu

Is this new behavior in the operation of the sub?
I would think the two problems are unrelated.
So the sub has no switch to shut off the automatic-off mode?

Ther must be leakage in a large E-Cap or input stage transistor causing a large DC offset and some protection circuit detecting the DC offset.

Thanks Tony ..... I'll begin my diagnosing along those lines .....It seems I have 2 faults possibly at play here......Cheers Again Raimon
