akg New Member Oct 27, 2006 #21 oops sorry... you mentioned ~3v dc and the initial resistance is ~1K , then adding another resistor in series ( <=100R) as a current sensor will do. i recommended a low value current sensor res: (1/10) to minimize the voltage drop at max current .
