Wireless....

Hey guys was wondering how does one setup a Micr PIC/ARM for wireless internet access...

I have a wireless network in my house and i know i can have a PIC/ARM on ethernet. (i dont know how to do this but know its possible)

How can one achive a wireless internet connection? What are the tools required and information needed to be read.

I just wanted some general info so i know what to read and what to buy.
