Final year? I question that.

Think about what a wireless LAN is.
Break your topic down into smaller parts first, and then you may be able to find a circuit for each part.

Here's a hint. Look for a transmitter and study all aspects of one.

The components have to be realy carfuly placed since your dealing whith multiple GHz
