wireless headset

how hard would it be to take a headset (stereo headphones and mic) and make a tx-rx system? it sounds like a project and a half..so does anyone know of a decently priced system like this that i can just buy? I need to get rid of this freaking cord somehow!! haha.

any input would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth

Try the blue-tooth wireless headset.
They are used with various mobile phones and also if you have a bluetooth adapter in your PC then you can use it there too, I believe.
