Hi,
I have been looking at several projects, and different types of capacitors are always specified for different roles. What I don't understand is why choose one over another? What does a tantalum capcitor have over a ceramic or electrolytic one? I have found lots about how they are different, but not why you would choose to use each one.
Can anybody help me understand?
