Hi, im going to rip up our grass next week and replace with turf, only problem is it needs a good watering for 2 weeks daily and up north QLD AUS we only see rain every month or so.

I had an idea of having a sprinkler attached to a rope then on pulleys with a stepper motor to perhaps slowly pull the string. i want a variable switch so i can change the speed and base on 12v so i can use solar to charge the battery in the day.
I have 2 limit switches already ill place somewhere to it stops at the end.

the stepper i have is a stp-59d3012
or is there another option i can use.

Thanks all

How about a self propelled sprinkler like one of these.
They are water powered and use the hose as a guide path.
