an LM100 is an integrated circuit voltage regulator i came across this circuit in a textbook (electronics for engineers by R. J. Maddock and B.M. Calcutt) it is an outdated circuit but i want to build an equivalent circuit using equivalent components.thank you

Yes it Definately is an Out-dated Voltage Regulator.

The Internal Schematic of this device, as well as typical applications, Appear in the "1968 National Linear Data Book" (Application AN-8).
I have that data book.

So what do you want?

The schematic of the LM100?
The applications?

Let me know and I can probably post it.

I Tried to type the "AN-Number", But it displays an "Emoticon".
It is AN-EIGHT. written out.

Gary, click the "Disable Smilies" box below the reply composition window, and it will work: (AN-8)

Here is the Schematic and Part of the documentation.
