using registers

i need to use pic registers for a project. But i dunno how they r proggraming in pic basic. can u suggest me some sources or materials to read about them or u can send some posts here? I need to write registers than read from there and make process with them.

Usually in basic it's simply the = will set a register

ANSEL = b10010010

The company that created your basic should have plenty of examples on their site.
