Hi, I have to admit that I am not an expert and I need some advice.I travel quite often to remote areas of Africa, Asia, South America and I need a good Universal Travel Adapter to be able to quickly recharge my devices: Osmo Pocket 3 batteries, Notebook, batteries for my lamp, etc.I need a Universal Travel Adapter PD (Power Delivery) that allows me to fully exploit my needs. Sometimes I recharge them individually but sometimes also simultaneously.I already know that these recharges can deteriorate the batteries more quickly, but I will recharge them about 4-5 times and no more on each trip. I travel twice a year, so all the other times I will recharge the batteries at home in a slower way.My question: can anyone recommend me a good and reliable plug adapter, Universal Travel Adapter PD (Power Delivery)? Could a 65W be enough?T HANK YOU for your kind replies.
Check the reviews - looking at the same-appearance & ratings ones in the UK, even the ones with a lot of reviews and fairly good, have comments that you can't use them at the claimed ratings.
It could be that the top "100W" can only provide that at 20V; a laptop than needs 15V can only pull 3A, so 45W.
I use a 120W "brick" style (a GAN3). That has a separate figure-of-eight IEC C7 style AC input & I have leads to suit different countries I visit. (I do the same with laptop charger and other AC cables, keeping different types).
Spare AC leads are a lot cheaper than more chargers!
It seems incredible but I could not find its weight on the entire web. A serious company should display the weight of a travel item. I've read everything about the weight: from 230 grams to 390 grams.
Since I will buy a charger like this: 268 W Desktop GaN Charger, I do not want to bring my Laptop charger with me, but I want to use the power supply for all my devices.
So I should buy a suitable cable. Do you think this is good? It costs 15.74 euros.
Is it able to charge the battery of my Zenbook laptop.
Conductor: 24 AWG.
Cable diameter: 4 mm.
Maximum current support: 3A;
Voltage: 12 V.
Maximum wattage: 65 W.
I read this:
sourcing map USB C to DC PD Fast Charging Cable, 3.5mm x 1.35mm, 65W/12V DC, 3A Jack Adapter Converter Adapter for Router, Camera, TV Box, Desk Lamp.
EDIT: The original charger has these specs: Asus Zenbook UX331FN Series 19V 3.42A 65W 4.0 x 1.35mmDoes it still charge if I put a 12V cable in it?
Or I can use this one extension: https://www.amazon.it/Adattatore-maschio-femmina-attacco-realizzato/dp/B0CR8WDKL9?__mk_it_IT=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=22STLBQ2DKLW6&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.zPjBtwowCiqWN9812 vmJ0K3jn2oUzRlEzSBWJIq49D6zbe1V_dKXDBA6dkycvz4cQUddX6Aue4u54fcJofErh_HjpSM-5jD8YHO1njOnl6nDUVMD oJBtFpAZyzpQoTOk8Ul4z8ny0EWUPYDb_eX0VhfbaK8T8dsIBK4gQhzET2mMIuCD8ERkhs1kL6BqMA6keHvsDk5jd45nN8_g 0zDH8JkvdKRFvIWyqq-U1fwWPJXTTB1qNTcbNWlzRD9DfpyfJOYp7p-wKDQXsogeHKZphuASPRa9P_ZB2QiqJ_rdS2w.kVb O9GW0jLG-0fvDVxyLUZ_AcdfjdfwkPqPnNrZAtw4&dib_tag=se&keywords=Cable%2Badapter%2Bpower supply%2 BDC%2B12V%2B4.0%2Bx%2B1.35mm%2Ba%2BUSB%2BC&qid=1746293326&s=electronics&sprefix=cavo%2Battacco%2Balimentazione%2Bdc%2B12v%2B4.0%2Bx%2B1.35mm%2Ba%2Busb%2Bc%2Celectronics%2C168&sr=1-1&th=1
I fear that I am spending money uselessly. I hope that at least with this new charger I can quickly charge the battery of Osmo Pocket 3 (small camera) and the Amaran Ace 25x LED lamp. I am now charging the Pocket 3 with the USB port of the PC.
But if you think you made a bad purchase, maybe I still have time to send it back.
